Ms. Farhana Kaniz is a compassionate and highly committed Auditory-Verbal Therapist with over 10 years of professional experience in supporting children with hearing loss and guiding families through their listening and spoken language journey. Known for her gentle approach, structured therapy planning, and strong parent counselling skills, she plays a vital role in the early intervention and rehabilitation of cochlear implant and hearing-aid–using children. She holds a Professional Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology (PMSLP) and has undergone extensive national and international training in Auditory-Verbal Therapy (AVT), Listening & Spoken Language (LSL) strategies, and early speech development techniques. Her clinical expertise is strengthened through participation in specialized programs such as IMPACT, SPARSH, and several structured AVT workshops conducted by the Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech & Hearing Disabilities (Divyangjan) in India. Ms. Kaniz has attended multiple professional conferences, including the 1st National Speech & Hearing Conference, APLA Congress, and workshops on communication strategies, lesson planning, diagnostics, and early speech goal setting for babies and toddlers.
