Mr. Mohammad Ariful Islam

Mr. Mohammad Ariful Islam is a pioneering leader in Bangladesh’s hearing-healthcare sector with over 18 years of dedicated experience in hearing technology, cochlear implant services, and auditory rehabilitation. As the Managing Director of Hearing & Speech Solutions (HSS), he has played a transformational role in expanding modern hearing-care services nationwide through clinical centers, outreach programs, and partnerships with hospitals, NGOs, and rehabilitation networks. For more than a decade, Mr. Islam has been a key supporter of Cochlear™ recipients in Bangladesh. He has worked closely with Cochlear India’s regional team since the early stages of CI development in the country. He has completed multiple advanced workshops and specialized training in India, Malaysia, and Singapore, gaining hands-on expertise in cochlear implant counselling, candidacy support, switch-on coordination, device handling, and long-term patient rehabilitation. His strong leadership in clinical operations, hearing-device distribution, and business development has enabled the introduction of state-of-the-art diagnostic audiology technology, modern hearing aids, and globally aligned rehabilitation protocols in Bangladesh. His mission is to build a sustainable, ethical, and internationally connected hearing-care model that ensures lifelong support for cochlear implant recipients and strengthens the country’s professional workforce.
