Mst. Shamima Akter is a dedicated and passionate Auditory-Verbal Therapist and Speech Pathologist with over 3 years of professional experience in supporting children with hearing, speech, and communication challenges. She is highly regarded for her empathetic approach, attention to individual needs, and commitment to fostering language development and early intervention. Ms. Akter holds a BA (Honours) degree and has completed specialized training in disability management, early childhood care, and special education, including a Post Graduate Bachelor of Special Education (BSEd) and a Certificate on Management of Special Children (CMSC). She has also participated in advanced programs such as SPARSH and Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD), as well as national and international conferences, including the 3rd APLA Congress & 6th National Conference of LVAB. Her work focuses on Auditory-Verbal Therapy (AVT), early speech and language goal setting, and creating child-centered therapy plans that engage families in the rehabilitation process.
